20 October 2010:
Finder has entered into a farm out agreement wich provides for Apache Northwest Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apache Corporation, to earn 65% and to assume operationship in WA-418-P.

17 August 2010
Finder has entered into a farm out agreement which provides for Apache Northwest Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apache Corporation, to earn 75% and to assume operatorship in WA-450-P.

18 June 2010: Finder Exploration was awarded Exploration Permit WA-450-P, a play rich "heartland" block just south of (and midway between) the Gorgon and Clio gas fields. This permit was gazetted as block W09- 11 in 2009 acreage release round.

16-May-2010: Finder Exploration PESA Deal Day Presentation

13 May 2010: Finder Exploration was awarded Exploration Permit WA-446-P, a under explored Bonaparte Basin block between fields on production (Bayu Undan to the northeast) and those scheduled for near term production (Petrel/ Tern to the southwest). This Permit was gazetted as block W08-1. 

13 May 2010: Finder Exploration was awarded Exploration Permit WA-445-P, a North Carnarvon Basin “heartland” block between the Echo/Yodel & Sculptor fields on the southern end of the producing Rankin Trend and Chevron’s Wheatstone fields to the west.  This Permit was gazetted as block W09-9.

22 April 2010: Following the execution of a conditional Sales and Purchase Agreement for WA-401-P on 6 April 2009, transfer of WA-401-P Exploration Permit to Woodside Energy Ltd and Hess Australia (Exmouth) Pty Limited is approved by the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum.

2009

2-November-2009:  Finder has entered into a farm out agreement which provides for Perenco (SE) Australia Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Perenco S.A., to earn 33% in AC/P 45 and 40% in AC/P 44.

1- September- 2009: Finder Exploration Good Oil Presentation

4-August-2009Finder is now 50% equity holder and operator of an additional 4 Exploration Permits within the Bedout Sub-basin.   The WA-436-P, WA-437-P and WA-438-P Exploration Permits were awarded 100% to Finder and the WA-435-P Exploration Permit was awarded to Carnarvon on 4 August 2009.  Finder and Carnarvon have entered into a farm-in agreement to swap 50% of the three Finder permits for 50% of Carnarvon’s WA-435-P, with Finder assuming operatorship across all 4 Permits.

24-April-2009: Woodside has signed a conditional Sales and Purchase Agreement (“SPA”) for the purchase of a 50% interest in WA-401-P.  WA-401-P is a 3 graticular block permit that lies immediately to the south west of WA-404-P.  Another party has also signed a conditional SPA for the remaining 50% equity of  WA-401-P. 

26-Feb-2009: EL DORADO, Arkansas – Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE:MUR) announced the adjustment of 2008 results by $31.1 million due to the expensing of a well drilled on the Abalone Deep prospect in Block AC/P36, offshore Western Australia. The well, completed after the Company’s preliminary earnings release on January 28, 2009, encountered non-commercial quantities of natural gas and is being plugged and abandoned.
