Welcome

Finder Exploration Pty Ltd (Finder) is a privately held oil and gas exploration company founded in 2005, based in West Perth, Western Australia. We are currently active in the greater North West Shelf area offshore north-western Australia and in the Walton Basin offshore Jamaica.  Please click here to view our current Australian acreage and here to view our current Jamaican acreage.

Finder's vision is to find oil and gas and to create value as a private company through leveraging relationships, data access and knowledge to capture and develop "high impact" oil and gas exploration acreage.  We are aggressive and decisive in our pursuit of opportunities and identify like minded joint venture partners to help develop drillable prospects.

We continue to grow our asset base/acreage portfolio and seek to establish revenue through:

1.    Acquisition of prospective acreage in line with agreed acreage principles;
2.    Detailed assessment and risk mitigation of exploration acreage; and
3.    Farm down of high graded acreage, retaining upside through drilling.

Finder won its first exploration bid in 2005 (
AC/P 36 in the Browse Basin) and has subsequently secured and operated a total of 22 exploration Permits in four countries, plus 3 in Papua New Guinea on behalf of Chinampa. To view our 2 page corporate profile with Finder's current suite of assets and the recent 3D seismic programs click here.
